Caramelised Onions Recipe
4 large onions, peeled
salt and pepper to taste
- Cut onions in half and slice thinly.
- Place olive oil into
fryingpan over medium heat. Add onions and cook 30-35 minutes until soft and dark brown, stirring occasionally to keep from sticking. Add a little bit of water now and then if necessary.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve with scrambled eggs, toasted sandwiches, or hamburgers.
